If you have doubts about the strength of your toy, or if your washing machine is violent even on a delicate cycle, your friend deserves a small bath by hand.
The exceptions are:
- toys with a mechanism (music, light or movement)
- toys stuffed with straw
- real fur toys
- plastic dolls with fabric body
How to wash your toy by hand?
1 - Clean the kitchen sink well or use a plastic tub.
2 - If your toy is very dirty, fill the sink with water and add a cup of white vinegar, let it soak for 20 minutes. Then wring it out and rinse it before moving on to the next step.
3 - Fill the sink with lukewarm water and add a little mild soap. Add your toy.
4 - Massage it with your fingers or brush it with a nail brush.
5 - Rinse it until the water runs clear.
6 - Wring out as much water as possible with your hands in the sink.
7 - Roll your toy in a towel to get out the excess water. It is important to remove as much water as possible to allow your toy to dry out,
8 - Set it up to dry in a dry corner. Move it once in a while to allow it to dry evenly.
