A WORD ABOUT SAFETY

DESIGNED TO BE LOVED , SEWN TO BE PLAYED WITH, RAPLAPLA TOYS ARE SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES (BUT DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE YOUR BABY'S TEETH).

The character “Mr. Tsé-Tsé” has been tested in a private laboratory and responds to the requirements of Health-Canada, to the standards of European conformity (attested by the CE label) as well as to the standards of American conformity, as a toy suitable for less than 36 months.

Certain dolls, as samples, have undergone - with success! - resistance and flammability tests in a private laboratory.

The animals respect the safety standards in force in Canada, but they have not undergone any tests resistance and flammability in private laboratories because the regular change or fabrics would prevent the validity of these tests from being maintained.

Owls and baby owls meet Health Canada requirements as Class 1 medical devices.

OF COURSE ...

Common sense and the vigilance of an adult with a child who handles a toy are always required.

QUALITY, QUALITY AND QUALITY

We make loving, strong and safe toys.

Quality, for raplapla, is first to create a rich and poetic fabric toy by combining patterns, colors and textures. A simple and stimulating toy that leaves plenty of room for the imagination. And that will make the child in front of him smile, but also the adult behind him!

Quality, for raplapla, is also reflected in our ethical concern, our transparency, our integrity. Our suppliers are based in Quebec, and the toys are sewn locally, in Montreal, offering good working conditions to our employees. The toys are designed in such a way as to avoid as much as possible losses when cutting fabrics. We recycle everything that we cannot transform. Raplapla donates part of its sales profits to organizations whose causes are close to their heart, such as Unicef , or Impatients < / a>. And since 2014, with the Tutu project we we regularly give dolls to hospitalized or vulnerable children.

Finally, the quality, for raplapla, is reflected in the care we take in the making. Fabrics, lace, fill or thread, each material is chosen rigorously. We always work from new fabrics, mainly natural materials (cotton, linen, silk, wool…). As much as possible we favor organic cultivation for cotton.

The plastic eyes, specially designed for plush toys, are held in place with a solid rivet and placed on a canvas fabric. For the models intended for the youngest, we prefer to embroider them.

The careful construction ensures a durable and safe toy.
